On July 12th, 2025, the Anambra State Association Washington DC Metro Area (ASA DC), in partnership with its Women’s Wing (ASAWW), hosted a spectacular Awards & Gala Night at the Metro Points Hotel. The event was a resounding success, drawing a crowd that exceeded expectations, with the 500-capacity hall filled to overflowing. The evening was not only a celebration of culture and community but also a powerful fundraising effort, raising over $20,000 in support of ASA DC’s charitable initiatives, including the ASA DC Orphanage Project in Anambra State.
