In the rich and inspiring history of the Anambra State Association Washington DC Metro Area (ASA DC), four names stand tall as pillars of vision, unity, and unwavering commitment. From the earliest days of the association’s formation to its present-day prominence, these men have remained steadfast in their dedication to the ideals and mission of ASA DC. They are: Dr. Daniel D. Akunwafor (Ogbuefi Ezeufonna), Chief Clement Odigwe (Ezenwata), SK George Ezimora, and Chief Donatus Enyi (Nzeadachie).
These founding fathers were not only instrumental in establishing ASA DC—they laid the foundation for what has become the foremost Igbo organization in the DC Metro Area. Their leadership, wisdom, and enduring presence have guided the association through decades of growth, challenges, and triumphs.
Together, these four pioneers have not only witnessed the evolution of ASA DC—they have shaped it. Their names are etched in the annals of the association’s history, not just for founding it, but for standing by it through every season.
As ASA DC continues to grow and impact lives both in the U.S. and in Anambra State, we honor these men—not just as founders, but as steadfast guardians of a legacy that will endure for generations to come.
